ARTICLE WRITING
An article is a piece of writing on a specific topic forming
an independent opinion expressed by a writer. It is the
most advanced form of writing which presents information
in a variety of theme.
POINTS TO REMEMBER:
1. Give an appropriate title – Write the Heading/Title at the
top with the writer’s name.
(a) First letter of every word capital,
(b) Eye catching,
(c) Should give a crisp idea of the theme.
2. Mention the writer’s name.

, 3. Divide the article into three parts, i.e., split the subject –
matter into 3-4 paragraphs.
Part 1 – Introduction /Beginning – Mention briefly what
the issue of the article is.
Give some startling fact or quotation.
Part 2 – Analyze the topic in terms of types/kinds.
Develop cause and effect relationship.
Problem(if any)
Consequences
Positive/Negative effects
Related information or Statistical data
Implications – social/environmental/psychological/
health related.
