We live in a technological tsunami because digitalization is changing every day,
and we need to know how to respond to it. So we make it work for us and we
have to know how to survive it.
Few factors that created this perfect storm:

1 Covid - 19 Has a big impact on business + it causes increase in
prices.
- how do you handle this?

2 Supply chain Supply chain crisis, caused by the worldwide pandemic,
crisis caused extreme nationalism  is likely to cause forms of
deglobalization.

3 Climate Change Climate change is likely to cause more sustainability 
extreme weather. The links between climate change
and sustainable development are strong.
4 Politics - Inequality: racism, sexism
- Extreme political opinions, people vote more
divided
- ! don’t underestimate the power of political
influence.




Question 2: Explain the “both-end” digital attitude
On the one hand, you need to have a stable organization and technology needs
to unburden (vergemakkelijken) the organization. On the other hand, you need to
make sure you adopt the organisation for the changing technologies, by
implementing new innovations.
The key is: Finding the perfect balance between:
People, business and technology

,Question 3: Explain the statement “get your organization into the right
digital flow”
Digital flow = flow of never-ending digitalization
You need to find the perfect balance between unburden organisation + stability,
and digital innovation. You can do this by looking at the 4 core IT activities:
Operate, optimize, inspire and integrate.

Given the total amount of the budget and time the organization invests in this
technology, how much time and budget can it spend in the 4 core IT activities?

(1) Unburden the organization  optimize current technologies you’re current
operating
= OPERATE AND OPTIMIZE

(2) Doing new innovations to respond to the changing digitalization. You need
to integrate the new improvement by inspiring the employees and giving
them certain desire of change.
= INTEGRATE AND INSPIRE


Question 4: Explain the golden ratio of digital transformation


We can find the golden ratio in everything, in Art, nature, photography, Fibonacci,
beauty, geometry, mathematics, …. In every of that, we can find the perfect
proportions. Which is the perfect spiral and perfect picture. That is what we must
find in the golden ratio of digital transformation. It is finding the best proportions
between strategy, business and people.



Question 5: What are the 8 axioms of “technology is the new math”


- A digital transformation has many involved parties. Never assume
always check
- Tehnology needs to unnburden the organisation and needs to create
stability. But at the same time technology also needs to help the
organisation to change trough innovation.
- Digital innovation and operational unburdening are very important for
an organisation, but the implementation of new digital aopplications is
as important
- Ask the right questions and understand the consquences of your
discions taken
- There are different levels of succes. Added value is only created after
exponentioal repetition of succes.
- There is a golden ratio between the overal and functional requirements
as ther is between the functional requirements and non functional
requiremnets
- Speed is a given in the digital mindset
