Academic engagement through active participation in instructional activities related to
the course objectives is paramount to your success in this course and future courses.
Through interaction with your instructor and classmates, you will explore the course
material and be provided with the best opportunity for objective and competency
mastery. To begin this class, review the course objectives for each Topic, and then answer
the following questions as this will help guide your instructor for course instruction.

2. Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of?
3. What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor
and classmates? What questions or concerns do you have about this

Personally, I have had the opportunity to take quite a few courses now that have taken turns
touching on all of the topics of this course in some way or another. I have also ran my own
classroom in the daycare setting where we were trained on how to manage a classroom as well.
I am also fortunate to be working at a school during the school months where I have had the
chance to observe other educators on how they manage their own classrooms. There is not a
topic during this course that I do not have prior knowledge on which makes me feel confident,
comfortable and excited to see what I will be able to take away from this course. I hope that
this course digs deeper on these topics than my previous courses have and look forward to have
more in depth conversations with all of you.
