(a) Answers must be concise, to the point, and substantive.
(b) All answers must be in complete sentences.
(c) Language must be clear and grammatically correct.
(d) Spelling must conform to the rules of UK or South African English.
(e) Answers must be typed in Times New Roman font, in 12 pt. font size, with single
line spacing.
2. Answer documents must be submitted in MS Word-format. No PDF files are permitted.
3. Answer documents must be uploaded onto iKamva by no later than 15:00 on the day of
the examination. If you are unable to upload your answer document onto iKamva, you
may email it to Dr A. Booley at and Mr A. Miggels at

Miggels, received after the stipulated time will not be assessed and no marks will be
awarded for those answers.

Andile is a project manager in Cape Town; however, he is very unhappy with living in Cape
Town and with his job. He sees a vacancy advertised in a Gauteng newspaper for a project
manager position with much better remuneration and benefits. He applies for the position.
Andile is short-listed and receives an invitation for an interview from the interviewing
committee. Andile accepts the invitation and flies to Gauteng for the interview. He pays for
