Haemophilia is a hereditary X-linked recessive blood disorder. In this document I have described the historical background of haemophilia, inheritance, types, which include haemophilia A, haemophilia B, its clinical symptoms, transmission of haemophilia in humans with a diagrammatic flow chart and management strategies.

Muscular dystrophy is an X-linked recessive disorder distinguished by progressive degenerative muscle weakness and loss of muscle tissue. Inheritance indicates that the complete absence of dystrophin protein is the main cause of this disease. Further, this document describes the role of dystrophin protein in muscle maintenance and its types with clinical manifestations and treatment.
