This course, which is a continuation of Chemistry 1311, focuses on chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, and thermodynamics. Additional topics, such as environmental chemistry, electrochemistry, coordination chemistry, nuclear chemistry, organic chemistry, and/or polymers, may also be introduced.

Principles of analytical chemistry with emphasis on the fundamental instrumental techniques and methods used for chemical analysis. The course serves as an introduction to more advanced methods.

A comprehensive course with emphasis placed on the capacity to utilize the fundamental concepts of mechanics and thermodynamics in the solution of problems.

Trigonometric functions, radian measure, solutions of triangles, graphs of trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, trigonometric equations, polar coordinates, vectors, and conic sections.

An introduction to discrete mathematics, including counting principles, combinatorics, discrete probability, sequences, series, and the binomial theorem.
