Abstract The Big Bang theory has been a long prevailing theory of the origin of the universe. However it lacks any explanation of its own necessity for existence nor its apparent spontaneity of symmetry breakings that brought it about but indeed has served astrophysics and also quantum mechanics since its inception. However, this theory may not actually pertain to the beginning of the universe but rather a consequence of linear thinking on the part of science looking for closure as a means t...

On the concept of dimensionality of reality there is a multiplicity of dimensions. However, the third dimension appears to stand out the most in terms of viability to host reality and be logically sound in its construction. This article demonstrates how less than two dimensions or how four or more dimensions does not result in a viable reality that obeys logic and where conservation laws persist without which reality has no standing or bearings.

Energy systems in buildings focus on how heat and energy are managed to achieve comfort, efficiency, and sustainability, and structural engineers play a key role in integrating these concepts into design. Using principles of thermodynamics, engineers analyze how heat flows through building materials and structures, ensuring efficient heating, cooling, and ventilation. A key measure is the U-value, which quantifies how much heat is lost through walls, roofs, windows, or floors, with lower values ...
