,Question 3
Have you ever had a conflict with someone, and if so, how did you resolve it?
Correct Answer
I haven't had any conflicts with no one that would prevent me from preforming my duties. But I can recall an event that
had to stand up for what was ethically right and for my customers safety. In the first year of me becoming the
consumables manager I encountered a situation where a storm had knocked out the power in the store for 3 days. While
monitoring the temperature for food it dropped below standards for safe consumption. Because the store manager
didn't want to take the profit lost and throw away the food. I had to call into the our employee hotline and report it. The
supervisor wrote me up, not following orders. Instead allowing things to continue, I didn't dispute. I was just happy that
we weren't serving customers bad food. That store manager was later dismissed.

and what was your resolution?
Correct Answer
