Freud's structure of personality - ANS✅✅- Consists of 3 aspects:

1) id- sexual and other biological drives that demand immediate gratification. (hunger, thirst, etc.)

2) ego- the rational, decision-making aspect of the personality.

3) superego- contains the memory of rules and prohibitions we learned from our parents and others.

- Overly dominant id would lead to violent, threatening, impulsive, behaviors.

- Self-actualization (the achievement of one's full potential.)

uncertainty and ambiguity.)

b) independence, creativity, and spontaneity (they make their own decisions, even if others
disagree.)

c) acceptance of themselves and others (they treat people with unconditional positive regard)

d) a problem-centered outlook rather than a self-centered outlook (they think about how to solve
problems, not how to make themselves look good.)

e) enjoyment of life (they are open to positive experiences, including "peak experiences" when they
feel truly fulfilled and content.)

f) a good sense of humor.

- Triangular diagram of scaling to the top: (need first to get second, need second to get third, etc.)

famous and most used.)

b) Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) (The person is asked to make up a story for each picture,
describing what events led up to this scene, what is happening now, and what will happen in the
