EMN2 TASK 1: SELF-ASSESSMENT REFLECTION
A. Before taking this Self-Assessment, I wanted to assess how well I did
in this first course. I tried to identify where I struggled the most and
build on that. I have a feeling that I would score low in Intellectual
Courage because I will always stand my ground, even if I am wrong,
regardless of the consequences, even if I know I am wrong. I am
confident that I can improve my professional skills if necessary.
Knowing that I will be able to improve in the future once I gain hands-
on experience.
B. Taking the self-assessment was a bit of an experience, knowing that it
would reveal where I needed to improve to work effectively with the
children of tomorrow. What I saw in my report is that I need to enhance
empathy in professional dispositions and integrity in professional
responsibilities and ethics. I'm a bit confused about the score, as I've
always thought and felt that I possess empathy and integrity as a person.
Since I have always worked on being honest and maintaining moral
standards, and primarily establishing trust, which is really important to
me. But now I'm more excited since I know which spot I need to work
on the most.
