- Changed
 Content (affective disorders is now the name. Only depression & bipolar, no
schizophrenia, bc change in master program, complex psychiatric disorders like
schizophrenia in stead of forensic part)
 Literature due to content (50% has changed). Also lifestyle psychology, changing
lifestyle and in that way prevent some disorders (sleep, exercise) & science
 Exam changed, it is now proctored ☹
 1st course assignment has changed & now an additional one about Hamilton rating
scale and evaluating how to use it in practice

- Psychodiagnostics is central theme. How to diagnose a certain disease in certain patient
o SCL-90, BDI, COPE (assignment 1) (depressed patient)
 Scores on different questionnaires & apply certain rules and regulations to
find out what is going on with this patient and what we can do with it
 SCL-90: broad list of psychological complaints ( sleep, pain). 90 items,
8 scales. Interpret by norm-scores (different groups!)
 BDI (beck depression inventory): self-report depression scale. Most
notable symptoms of depression, 21 items in 3 categories (affective,
somatic, cognitive)
 COPE (coping questionnaire)
o Treatment plan (assignment 2)
 Do we have bipolar patient/not, how serious is it & what to do with this
patient? (treatment plan)
