relatively small. There are approximately 300 staff members in the hotel. Hilton
Hotel is a 5* hotel, located in close proximity to Southwark Station. The hotel
offers accommodation and hospitality to all of its clients. However, they also
offer events and conferences. Clients can choose from a range of function rooms
that vary in size. The Hilton Bankside London has a spa, pool, restaurant, bar and
8 generously sized function rooms. The Hilton’s main target market are business
men during the week and couples on spa retreats at the weekend.
Work placement Preparation
Hours of work: I work different hours- but they usually last approximately 6-8
hours.
Dress code: Black shirt, black trousers and plain black shoes (no trainers) and
pinafore.
Travel arrangements: I will be driving to the hotel.
Resources to take with you: I will need to take a pen, a pad and a bottle opener.
