Natural and Artificial System
A system is a group of parts that work together to complete a task or reach a goal. Systems can
be found everywhere in our world, and they are divided into two main types: natural systems
and artificial systems.
1. Natural Systems
Natural systems are made by nature. Humans do not create them, and they work on their own
without human control. They are usually self-sustaining, meaning they keep working naturally
without needing outside help. These systems can change over time according to the environment.
Key points about natural systems:
Created by nature, not humans.
Work on their own.
Follow natural laws like gravity, sunlight, water flow, etc.
Keep balance naturally (self-regulating).
Examples:
Solar System: The Sun, planets, and moons moving in space because of gravity.
Human Body System: The heart, lungs, stomach, and brain all work together to keep us
alive.
Water Cycle: Water changes into vapour, forms clouds, and falls as rain again.
2. Artificial Systems
Artificial systems are made by humans. They are designed for a specific purpose, like solving a
problem or making work easier. These systems cannot work forever on their own — they need
human control, maintenance, or power to keep running.
