A. Clifton Strengths Results
Describe what you learned about yourself based on the results of your self-assessment,
including the following:
Based on the results of the CliftonStrengths self-assessment, my top five strengths are
Competition, Relator, Analytical, Command, and Harmony. Each of these strengths influences
how I think, make decisions, and behave in my role.
1. How My Strengths Contribute to My Leadership
• Competition: My competitive nature drives me to strive for excellence in every
endeavor. I constantly benchmark against others to push my team to perform at their
best. This strength inspires my leadership approach, ensuring that I motivate the team
to overcome challenges and achieve ambitious goals.
• Relator: I thrive on building meaningful connections with team members, fostering trust
and collaboration. As a leader, this helps me create a cohesive environment where team
members feel valued and supported.
• Analytical: My logical approach ensures all decisions are data-driven and well-reasoned.
This strength allows me to evaluate processes critically, identify inefficiencies, and
implement improvements that benefit the team and the organization.
• Command: My decisiveness and strong presence provide clarity and direction,
particularly in uncertain or challenging situations. This strength is essential when guiding
the team through the adoption of new processes and addressing resistance.
• Harmony: I excel at finding consensus and resolving conflicts. By focusing on shared
goals, I create unity among team members and facilitate smoother transitions during
times of change.
2. How My Strengths Influence My Actions as an IT Manager
In the scenario at Innovatech Solutions, my strengths play a critical role in addressing the
challenges:
, • Competition helps me set clear goals and metrics for the team's success, framing the
transition as an opportunity to outperform past performance.
• Relator allows me to build strong relationships with both senior and junior developers,
ensuring that everyone feels included and valued during the transition.
• Analytical aids in evaluating the current inefficiencies and designing training programs
to address skill gaps in junior developers.
• Command enables me to take charge and lead with confidence, particularly when
addressing resistance among experienced developers.
• Harmony helps me mediate conflicts, ensuring that remote workers feel included and
aligned with in-office employees, thereby bridging communication gaps.
A1. Provide evidence of completion of the self-assessment. You will need to take a screenshot of your
