Deployment Phase IV - ANSWER - reception

Reception - ANSWER the process of receiving, off-loading, marshalling, and transporting of
personnel, equipment, and materiel from strategic and/or intratheater deployment phase to a sea,
air, or surface transportation POD to the marshalling area.
Staging - ANSWER includes assembling, temporarily holding, and organizing arriving personnel,
equipment, and materiel into forces and capabilities and preparing them for onward movement,
tactical operations, or Service reintegration.
Onward Movement - ANSWER the process of moving forces, capabilities, and accompanying

Level II DRE - ANSWER includes Level I DRE activities and is designed to evaluate a unit's ability to
conduct complete load-out operations and installation turn-in activities that support a limited notice
deployment.
Level III DRE - ANSWER includes Level II DRE activities and is designed to evaluate a unit's ability to
conduct strategic movement by air or surface in support of a limited notice deployment.
