Accident-Free Discount - ANSWER AFD applies to Mutual policyholders who
have been covered with State Farm for at least three years without a chargeable
accident. AFd follows the policy, not the driver, and may rise over time if the
policy remains in effect and there are no charged accidents.
Defensive Driving Discount The DDD applies if the principal operator has
voluntarily taken and completed a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course
within the last three years that has been certified by the National Safety Council or
a governmental entity such as the State Board of Education.
The Good Driving Discount - ANSWER applies to all new auto insurance and
newly acquired cars if none of the drivers in the household has had an at-fault
accident or driving offence in the previous three years.
If no accidents occur, the unit will be replaced with an AFD after three years.
Good Student Discount - ANSWER All drivers under 25 must meet the
qualifications.
- Currently full-time, with qualifying grades
- Possess an associate degree or equivalent with qualifying grades.
- Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with qualifying grades.
- have a bachelor's degree or equivalent without qualifying grades.
