M1- Justify the choice of entertainment activities in your proposed programme.
There are three different types of customers that I will be catering on the cruise chip which is c=kids,
families and couple. A cruise ship is massive and has a lot of plenty different things that everyone
could do on it. A kids need will be different to a families need and also to a couple need. While
catering for a kids I have set there different groups to make it easier for the staff since there will be
toddlers, kids and teenagers. The toddlers will have a different group with staff and separate
different activity provided for them also their area of play will be different compared to the kids and
teenagers (soft play). The kids will have different activity and the teenagers such basketball and
other water sports.
For families they will be different staff that would cater their needs and retirements. Families will be
eligible for other different activities such as baking class’s family’s dinners and much more, they will
also be eligible for family discounts and fan take part in few events and activities that would take
place on the cruise every day. They can also try the different waterparks on board which are
complete safe for them and their children. The cruise is also kids friendly. There are wide varieties of
restaurants on board they are able to try anything of their choices or even get it delivered to their
room by 24/7 room services for free.
For couple there are romantic suites on board with wine and dine dinner at night. He staff makes
sure that they had a wonderful time taking care of their needs and requirements. The nightlife for
the couples is more fun since the casinos, movies night, disc bar and much more is open till 02:00am
in the morning. They are also able to try the different activities which are available on board such as
the hot tub, spas, discos, and much more. There are also many exclusive deals which are only
catered for the couples.
