2 Read the extract below about Aldo and Alberto trying to cross the road.
DO NOT WRITE IN THIS AREA
C’erano due vecchietti che dovevano attraversare la strada. Avevano saputo
che dall’altra parte c’era un bel parco con un laghetto. Ai vecchietti, che si
chiamavano Aldo e Alberto, sarebbe piaciuto molto andarci.
Così hanno cercato di attraversare la strada, ma era l’ora di punta e c’erano
tantissime macchine.
– Cerchiamo un semaforo – ha detto Aldo.
– Buona idea – ha detto Alberto.
Hanno camminato finché* ne hanno trovato uno, ma l’ingorgo era tale che,
anche se i vecchietti erano molto magri, non sono riusciti a passare. Aldo ha
cercato di avanzare di qualche metro, ma è dovuto tornare indietro a suon di
clacson e male parole.
