Describe yourself in 3 words. - Correct resilient, honest and passionate Tell me about yourself. - Correct I grew up with a mother who was an OB/gyn and worked in her office making charts for 5 cents a chart and then eventually as a medical assistant and front desk staff in high school. I always knew I wanted to enter the medical field but I didn't get truly excited about the prospect of becoming a doctor until I found NUNM. I toured many conventional schools but was disappointed in the lack of nutrition and natural therapies in their circulum after spending 3 years getting my nutrition degree at Oregon state. I have always enjoyed teaching and have been a tutor and TA through high school and college and here at NUNM. There is something about the moment when it clicks for students and watching them apply what you taught them that I find really rewarding. *Since my time at NUNM I have continued to work as a tutor, and have TAed for hydrotherapy anatomy and nutrition. I have also worked as a women in balance work-study student, referral coordinator assistant, clinic assistant and been the marketing chair of our local NMSA chapter
