Dermis The "true" layer of the skin Round face Blend dark shade on the outer edges of the temples, cheekbones, and jawline. Use light shade from the center of the forehead down the center of the face to the tip of the chin. Narrow Face Blend a light shade of foundation over the outer edges of the cheekbones to bring out the sides of the face. Double chin Apply shading under the jawline and chin over the full area. Wide nose Apply shade lighter to the center of the nose. The darker foundation on both sides and blend them together. Short nose Blend lighter shade foundation onto the tip of the nose and between the eyes.
