Which habits will you consider adding into your routine? I would actively add the Positive Psychology habit my daily regimen. I feel it would be very difficult to practice initially and keep one’s mind from focusing on all the things that can go wrong or did in fact go wrong. However, if practiced daily with a conscious mind, it can easily lead to becoming a healthy and useful habit. I would also like to try to exercise the 4-7-8 breathing technique; not only would that be helpful in grounding a person during stressful times, it can also be a great tool for someone like me who experience anxiety during test-taking. Allowing a minute to the focus on breathing can help clear the mind and bring the important tasks back into focus. In addition to all the common healthy habits, adding both new habits will reduce the percent outcome calculated by the Propensity to Illness Equation especially for someone like who is at higher genetic disadvantage. It also can prevent early career burn-out that many nurses experience, as mentioned in the video.
