There are many types of stakeholders in a business and the organisation I am doing
Is Tesco’s. I believe that stakeholders have an influence within the business’s this is
proven by big organisation such as Tesco’s, they have different stakeholders which
made it one of the world’s biggest retailers in the world. There are many important
stakeholders with in my business (Tesco’s) and some of these for example are:
Managers: In my opinion, I believe that managers are a main stakeholder with in the
business. The reason for that is because, they run the business, they are the ones in
command, they say what goes where and employee the right people for the job. This
is how they are influential; they have authority in the business to make it a successful
business. Managers also have influence on the employees, this is as he/she will be
allocating and organising staff to carry out their specific job role they were given in
the Tesco store. By motivating the employees, they will be inspired to complete the
role in an ordeal manner. However, there could be conflict if the employees are not
motivated they will not carry out their job properly, this could lead to not doing their
service properly and lead to unhappy customers which then could lead the employee
getting sacked. By the manager motivating the employee will ensure all work/services
done by them an outstanding and complete in a high standard. There also could be
conflict between the manager and owner, this could be possibly because the
manager wants a pay rise, holidays etc. The owner could believe that the manager is
asking for too much of his liking and could decide whether to change managers. In
addition, managers can also possiably have conflict with suppliers, this could be
because the business is not getting the supplies in time to sell to their consumers or
even the suppliers boosting their prices up for their supplies. On the other hand,
suppliers might have conflict because the managers not understandable and might
not pay the suppliers right. This can lead to Tesco’s changing suppliers and leaving the
suppliers possiably without supplying anyone which they will lose on (suppliers).
