When they feel prepared! You are prepared when your goal score consistently matches your accurately timed practice test scores. Generally beneficial to take the test shortly after taking the class. Also many factors to consider when deciding the appropriate test date, When do you plan to start law school?, When will you be able to study the most?, How much time and effort are you willing to put towards preparation? TM offers significantly higher pay than competitors, so best instructors are drawn to TM before seeking employment with lower paying companies like Kaplan or PR, TM is happy to pay this premium because it means we have first pick from the applicant pool. Age in either direction is not what qualifies someone to be an LSAT instructor
