Large event = wireless festival in London
The wireless festival is a massive festival rap musical festival that is hosted every year in London. The
musical festival gathers all the top-class music artists with different music styles to perform live on
the stage. When the wireless festival first started in 2005 it only showcased rock and pop music
however every year the popularity grew so much that they decided to give a variety of music so they
introduced urban and hip-hop genres. The last wireless festival before covid was in 2019 and had
many outstanding performances such as Travis Scott, cardi b, and tory lanez which brought a large
amount of audience. The wireless festival is clearly the UK’s number 1 music festival you can see that
by the statistics given by the festival republic as more than 135 thousand tickets were sold in a
couple of hours in the 2019 festival. As every year the festival is hosted in Finsbury Park which is a
huge park and its very accessible with or without cars and has not much travel costs. However, in
2022 the wireless festival is going got be held in 3 places these Finsbury, crystal Palace, and
Birmingham nation exhibition centre this is all due to the high demand from the people for this
music festival. To increase sales and profit for the company that is hosting the festival they have
made the ticket prices affordable (£56) in comparison to the music festivals where the price is over
£150.
Purpose of the event = the wireless festival is a huge music festival that shows incredible
performances from top-class artists. The purpose of this event is entertainment for the people who
are looking to enjoy their holidays with their favourite music artists. Another purpose for this event
could be to gain more tourists and gain lots of popularity resulting in more sales for the company
that is hosting the event.
Aims and objectives for this event =
To gain lots of tourists and popularity from all around the world and the country to come
together to enjoy all types of music from your favourite singers
To gain lots of sales and recognition so that they can perform in more cities which is what
they are going to be doing in 2022 by performing first time in Birmingham
This event is for the entertainment for the people to come and enjoy their day off with great
music and amazing food stalls

When the tickets came out in 2019 for the wireless festival more than 135,000 thousand
tickets were sold in a couple of hours to see their favourite music artists
Another success factor of this event is that they have all different kinds of music styles and
artists which will attract lots of people because there is music which suits their style
the tickets for this event are very affordable (£56) compare to other wireless music festivals
which is why people prefer to come to this event because it’s cheap and you got more
variety of music and other attractions
what makes this event successful is that lots of people come around the world and country

The great Birmingham marathon run takes place every year at Sutton Park. This marathon is for
everyone of all ages and abilities that are capable of running. To simply join the great challenge, you
choose the distance and then participate. To help the even Birmingham city council support this
great event. Sutton Park is where this event is hosted as this park gives the best experience of
running and to enjoy to the outdoor view.
Purpose of this event = the main purpose of this event is to gain lots of recognition from thousands
of viewers who are going to be watching this on television. This kind of event could be a great
opportunity for charities and it will raise their publicity and will gain a good cause for their charity.
Runners can also wear charity branded clothes the ones they are supporting and run in the
marathon which will bring in lots of awareness for that charity and you will feel like a hero or
supporting the charity in a good cause. Another purpose for this event could be to decrease obesity
in people by doing this kind of event with this kind of exercise could decrease the obesity.
