Graphics Card Graphics Card Information
The graphics card is a key component of a computer because it is
how the information from the processer and memory are
displayed. Some graphics cards are more powerful than others
and which can render videos and images faster, create 3D
Animation.
The graphics card has different components so it can process
and render information faster. Some parts it has can be RAM,
Processor, Heat sink and a motherboard.
The Graphics card inserted into the motherboard in the PCI Slot
and can be plugged into the monitor by the display device port
using a VGA Cable.
Graphics Card Processor
The graphics card processor processes intensive information that
the CPU cannot handle.
The information that is processed is measured in MHz for an
example a graphics card could processor could process
information at 1140 MHz which is 1140 times per second.
Graphics Card Memory
When the graphics card renders images it needs somewhere the
images however if the resolution of the image is higher the
graphics card will need more memory to store the images.
Some of the things the memory can store is the each pixels colour
and location on the screen.
Some graphics cards have more memory than others for example
2gb, 4gb. 6gb. 8gb and even up to 16gb
