Preoperatieve screening:

▪ Nuchter / mogelijke anesthesietechnieken / pijnbestrijding etc.
o Classificeren patient (ASA) op basis van voorgeschiedenis
1. Gezonde patiënt
2. Patiënt met lichte tot matige systemische afwijking zonder
functiebeperking
3. Patiënt met ernstige functie beperkende systemische afwijking
4. Patiënt met systemische afwijking die constant levensgevaar met zich
meebrengt
5. Een morbide patiënt die met of zonder operatie waarschijnlijk binnen
24 uur zal overlijden
E. Bij spoedoperaties toegevoegd

▪ Keuze anesthesietechniek / monitoring (arterielijn/centrale lijn)
