Monarchy = is that is ruling over them most times a king queen prince or princess examples
are. Examples: Willem alexander Queen Elizabeth
Aristocracy = form of governance in which a small ruling class of rich people holds all power
examples: Britain’s royal family
Tyranny = form of governance where all power is held by one person: the tyrant a tyrant is
an absolute ruler who came to power by violent means, and who often ruled with violence as
well. Examples Kim Jong-un
Democracy = form of governance where the people chose their own rulers. The word
democracy comes from the Greek words demos (=people ) and kratein (=govern).
