Target Audience
The software is intended for young children who are beginning to do simple addition and
subtraction. The software is aimed at users between the ages of 7 and 11. This age range was chosen
because it represents the point at which students have mastered the fundamentals of mathematics
and are ready to apply what they have learned. To use the programme, kids should understand the
meaning of each number and what the math symbols mean. They might find the questions too
challenging to respond to if they have not yet learned this.
Purpose
The app's goal is to teach young kids how to solve math problems quickly. To ensure that kids like
the app as much as possible, it must be made simple and easy to grasp. To encourage students to
continue answering questions, they need to receive an appropriate incentive when a question is
answered correctly. This can be done by showing the child a message of encouragement so they will
be motivated to keep going.

A possible test for the app that could be done is to see whether the answer is negative or not. The
person requesting the app does not want the program to produce questions that have negative
answers, so to test for this is vital. If this test is not done, it would greatly increase the difficulty of
the question making the child feel frustrated, as they have not learnt how to do this at this stage in
their life.
