During the first week, I was assigned to G2P1011 was a patient with a 4th-degree laceration s/p repair which was 37 years old and had been in the hospital for 40 weeks and four days. I checked the patient's vital signs and the vital signs of three other patients and their newborns. Changing diapers, administering medication to moms, and simply being available with my patient are all examples of my responsibilities. I am present when blood is collected from a newborn for laboratory testing. Her older kid was roughly three years old, and her newborn boy had only been alive for less about 24 hours when she gave birth which caused the tear. I was able to plan care with the mother because I introduced myself, utilized open posture, and maintained a non-judgmental attitude toward her situation.
