Instruction:
• Answer all two essay questions below, 1000 words for each question, in Times New
Roman fonts (size 12, single space), excluding the bibliography.
• Provide a systematic analysis/discussion, supported with data from reliable sources. Cite
any reference properly – no specific format, but it should be clear. Write in clear and
short paragraphs
• Do not cite the lecture slides, but try to find the original sources of the data or
information on the slides.
• Put your bibliography, if any, separately, at the end after your essay #2.
• Do not plagiarize. This is an individual assignment. Your answer will be subject to the
originality and similarity test, including to your classmates’ work, and if it does not pass
this test, your midterm will be declared void.
• Upload your answer to Turnitin assignment folder (Turnitin
_Midterm_Exam_EconSSEA_2021) on the Brightspace by Friday, Oct 29, 2021, 12noon
at the latest. Any late submission will not be accepted.
