Introduction for this part of my assignment:
In this assignment I am going to compare two different websites. In this assignment I am going to delineate about
two different sites. For instance, I am going to compare their features and I am going to explain about what the
purpose of the websites is. Additionally, I will also analyse and explore the functions of the two sites. My websites
will be electronic commerce from where people buy and sell things.
First website (purpose and the target audience):WWW.APPLE.COM
Apple is one of the best websites in the world which develops and sells electronics and accessories. The
purpose of this website is to sell the electronics with the best facilities and help. The aim of this site is that it is
designed for selling astonishing products and services with many features. The website bears products like
phones, iPad, and many others for youngsters’ children’s and for extended family members. This website has
stunning inspiring and attractive products and features so the users can pay attention on their site and things and
they will find it eye catching. The layout of the apple website is superb and extremely attractive the website is
quite simple and straightforward so everyone can easily understand how to use it. The target audience for this
website is 18+ because the people and children who are under 18 cannot buy the products from the site because
they will need credit card and bank account to make the payments and for monthly instalments. There are
numerous numbers of features in this website now I am going to describe about each feature that why it is on the
site and why it is helpful.

homepage (background layout and font):
The homepage of this website is simple and understandable it is filled with different icons images of
the product and buttons on the top. The main theme colour of this site is white and mate grey black.
The layout of this website is quite adequate everything is organised and separated in various
categories for example iPhones are in different section from accessories which is a good for users.
The background colour of this website is bright white which makes the website look more
professional and cleverer because the white background will help the users to see the font text
clearly for each thing because for the fonts text, they have used black and colourful colours
therefore the user can clearly.

Everything on the website is understandable and organised for instance iPhones are in different
section from accessories which is a good thing for users therefore they can easily select click on
where they want to go either on mobile page or accessories page. Furthermore, the accessories are
also separated in distinct categories apple watches, apple air pods headphones each of them is given
in different section each of them has their different pages and icons.
Search engine:
Search bar is given on the top right of the website therefore the users can search for any product
accessories they want to. For example, if someone want to buy something they want to they can
directly search for it by using search bar and the product will appear. Therefore, this will be very
helpful for users.
