Spencer Ashford University Forbes School of Business April 3, 2016 Dr. Lisa Toler SEA TREASURES ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE 2 As Sales and Marketing Director for Sea Treasures, I recognize a need to increase revenue by implementing an internet website ordering system to sell the large inventory of aquarium decorator items (currently gathering dust in a costly warehouse). The company is dangerously close to going out of business. The company has laid off employees and closed stores because of slow sales. This is a short term solution to increase revenue and get out of the red. The long-term solution, which will be implemented in six months, is to expand the website and sell live sea creatures such as tropical fish and small sea turtles online, which is a long-term, large-scale change. I realize I face many challenges in this transformational change initiative, beginning with strong employee resistance, new technology, and shipping methods. The purpose
