testing the PC so I only need to evaluate the performance and justify
any improvements that could be made.*
Evaluating the performance of a computer system
As you can see below, there’s a list including the specifications
of that system. Based on this picture, I will evaluate its
suitability for being used on a daily basis.
Considering we’re in 2020, these specifications are not that
good but it doesn’t mean they can’t be used for basic/not very
demanding tasks such as surfing the internet. One of the most
important parts of the system – the processor, was released
on October 2007 and that makes it quite old and weak. In some
situations, this will result in longer loading times or stutters.
However, it will be capable to execute normal tasks thanks to
the two cores whose speed is 2.4GHz.
This processor comes with an integrated Graphics Card (GPU)
which again, won’t be very quick especially when it comes to
loading high-resolution images. After all, this is a decent
chipset which will be enough for an office PC for the moment.
