, ABOUT US
Breakfast in bed is a breakfast catering service focusing on sustainability and service.
The concept was founded in Amsterdam by the sisters Charissa & Charlotte
Veenemans. Both sisters are passionate about baking and eating breakfast. In order to
combat food waste Breakfast in Bed works together with local businesses. All the
products delivered in the box are from organic resources.
Unsold products are collected (think of fruit and vegetables with a
minor flaw or bread that is one day old) that would otherwise be thrown away from
local suppliers simply because there is a surplus. These include Albert Heijn, local
bakery’s and Kromkommer.
The creative sisters create delicious breakfast boxes from these
products that can be ordered and delivered by bike! Green is good!
At Breakfast in Bed it’s not only about kick starting your
morning delicious and time saving, but also in a sustainable way.
