Community Crisis Resources Compilation
Baltimore, Maryland boasts a variety of crisis response resources or agencies to the
benefit and welfare of Baltimoreans. However, the community experiences gaps in
preventing, curbing and mitigating impacts of crisis for the community. This paper critically
compiles ten resources that responds to different types of crisis in my community
(Baltimore), and identification of one missing area of crisis intervention that could be of great
benefit to the community in its presence.
1. Emergency response

Emergency response facility is one important crises mitigation resource available in
Baltimore, Maryland. This type of resources consists of services like the Red cross and
firefighters which respond to emergency situations to promote welfare/wellbeing of
community members. The Baltimore Red Cross Blood and Platelet Donation Center - Mt.
Hope has its scope of service confined to the Baltimore Community, though extends its
