Definition

• Acid: Any hydrogen-containing substance that
can donate a proton (hydrogen ion, H+H+) or accept an electron pair in
chemical reactions.

Physical Properties

Chemical Properties

• Proton Presence: Contain H+H+ (proton).
• Proton Donor: Act as proton donors in protolytic reactions.
