Only equipment on the desk; calculator from the guard, pen, eraser, ordinary dictionary (if not
writing in mother tongue and not the dictionaries given out for the course) and examination
paper + extra blank paper from the guard
Leave bags where told including mobile phone, which have to be turned off
No one can leave before 30 min from start or 30 min from when they arrived (deadline 13:30 if
arrived 13:00).
No one can arrive more than 30 min after start (deadline 13:30)
When finally leaving, this examination has to be submitted
Show personal ID when submitting the examination
When visit toilet sign a list with times out and back. Only one at the time.

Organic farmers rely heavily on forage legumes to manage their soils. However, red clover has the
reputation to being difficult to ensile. Please explain to the farmer what she/he can do to make red
clover ensile easily:
not for grazing, cold sensitil
a) Mention at least 2 traits in red clover which make this forage difficult to ensile?
b) What could you do (except additives!) to counteract this problem and produce well-
fermented silage? Please explain how your proposed solution works (mode of action)!
