I am proud to say that this module is over for me, but without my work in creating this resource to assist in my learning of development economic theory, I would have been toast! This document consists of 73 pages detailing causes, theoretical solutions, impacts and trials, all showcasing and explaining how economic underdevelopment is occurring, why it should be solved, and how it may be solved while highlighting the drawbacks and advantages of putting increased emphasis on economic development. In effect, it isn't the most enthralling read you will come across. However, put up with the boredom to learn a thing or two in this encyclopaedia of development economics tailor-made for the average student - such as myself - and you can make a field day of your exams. This is useful for economics students through all years of university, as much of the content may apply to the 2nd or even 1st-year learning material. A look at the content’s pages will help you decide whether this is the document for you, as the theories explored may benefit economics students through all years of university. Particularly, this document is derived from "Poor Economics", "Economic Development" and lecture material that compiles a whistle-stop tour of a plethora of economics development variables. Overall, I would like to emphasise that this will be most helpful to those looking to go above and beyond in evidencing and evaluating the economic development process to obtain the highest marks.
