The specific type of quantitative research that was chosen was quasi-experimental because it determines the effect of the one variable on another and is used to improve the outcomes of clinical practice. -Give a rational for why you think the author chose this design. The other type of research design could be use for a study about this topic is descriptive research according to GROVE (2015) stated that “descriptive studies are usually conducted with large number of subjects or study participants, in natural setting with no manipulation of the situation.” The result of study performed in the article based on online survey for a large amount of nurses. This method describes situations by survey method. I choose to study the topic this way because descriptive research describes, infers and resolves problems using numbers, collecting of numerical date, the summary of those date and drawing of inferences from the data.
