In this section of the work o will be explaining factors which must be considered when planning an
event. This depends on the group of participants involved; some factors may be changed and
adapted to match the environment. However, all these factors must be taken into account.
Aims and Objectives Aims and objectives should be considered before planning
any event as this will allow you to know what is expected of
you when performing.
Coaching techniques Coaching skills and techniques would highly benefit
participants in their development process. It is important to
consider coaching techniques in order to enable all
participants to cope and strive to their best potential in the
event.
Content It would be easy to plan an event when you know what you
need to do. For example, the activities in the event and
ensure all the participants complete the activities required.
Content builds up a structure for your event. This will ensure
all participants participate in the activity. This will also help in
time management and emergencies.
Contingency plan This is to ensure anything that doesn't go according to the
plan has another solution to get back to the original plan. For
example, individuals who came to spend some good time
and at some point the event gets cancelled would cause a lot
of inconvenience to the individual therefore when planning
an event there should always be a contingency plan in order
to maintain a normal outcome for the individuals day.

when planning an event which contains numerous activities
which would be based on the individual development. This
would make the activities fun which would motivate
individuals to participate.
Differentiation It is important to contain different levels of activities as this
would help the development process of an individual. For
example, if individuals are struggling to cope with certain
activities they should be assessed with a lower skilled
activities however, if an individual is striving ahead at the
activity then they should be moved to a higher level activity
in order to further develop their knowledge and skills.
Feedback methods It is important to have different methods of feedback from
the participants to the event planner. This would allow the
event planner to understand their strengths and areas of
improvement so next time they can work improving these
areas of improvements.
