I am an IT Technician for a medium sized business, as my job entails it is my job to look at cloud
technology and see how it can benefit my employers. I have been assigned by my supervisor to produce
an analytical report on if it would impact the business in a successful or in a negative way.
How IT is presently utilized within organizations
All modern media which helps people, corporations and organizations use knowledge includes ICT. It
includes all digital items which, in electronic format, deal with information. ICT is also associated with
storing, extracting and distributing digital information.
By empowering smaller firms to level the playing field with bigger corporation’s technology has
transformed the way businesses operate. In order to establish strategic benefits in the commercial
market small companies use a variety of technologies, from databases to smartphones. In their
preparation phase for efficient implementation and to give space for potential growth, small business
owners must recognize the introduction of technology. This enables holders to build operations using
the most powerful available technologies.
Impact on working expenses
Technology may be used by small business holders to decrease business costs. Simple enterprise
technology helps an organization, such as data collection, accounting and recruitment, to optimize back-
office operations. Mobile tech makes it possible to communicate in actual time with home offices and
field staff. For example, when they accumulate everything, field reps may use smartphone apps to
monitor their regular expenditures and make them synchronize instantly back at the workplace with
accounting system.
