A. Explain how implementing a professional growth plan can help you improve your
instructional practice by promoting all students' academic and nonacademic success.
Implementing a professional growth plan can help me improve my instructional practice by
promoting all students' academic and non-academic success by learning how to target and focus
on areas I can improve on and where my strengths are. Having targeted goals will allow me to
focus on what I need to do to improve and also help me improve in the areas where I need to
improve. Having a professional growth plan will allow me as an educator to grow and make my
classroom a better environment. My class can grow in numerous ways, such as the classroom

These are all different things that can happen when I implement a professional growth plan to
help improve my instructional practice and promote all students' academic and nonacademic
success.
B. Identify one nonacademic need that your students have.

think-pair-share, and partner-share. Building communication skills is essential and will help them
succeed in my classroom and all aspects of life. My students have this non-academic skill
because it’s something I believe is necessary, which is why we practice our communication skills
daily.
C. Develop a professional growth plan to address the nonacademic need in Part B that will help
