,The personal development plan (PDP) is a document that outlines your strengths,
development areas and the goals that you want to achieve in the short, medium, or long term
(glassdoor1, 2021). The PDP will help guide you on actions to take to improve your
development areas and reach your goals successfully.
The PDP process (per the self-development and self-management definitions in your learning
material online) identified the following five steps that must be completed for successful
accomplishment of your goals. Each of the steps set out below should be completed as per
the instructions provided in the online course material.

Record your progress monthly (May to September) to reflect on whether you have made progress in achieving the goals you identified in your
personal development plan. Clearly explain if any changes to your plan are necessary. Limit your progress to 30 to 60 words per entry.
Your monthly progress record should include the following:
1. Practical steps you have taken to reach your goals;
2. Challenges you identified and overcame in reaching your goals; and
3. Evidence of the steps taken to reach your goals. Evidence includes documented proof from a third party or other independently verifiable
source showing the steps you have taken to reach your goal.
