Reporter/Correspondent - Reporters & correspondents inform the public of news events and
current information happening around the world & locally. They report the news for newspapers,
magazines, websites, television, and radio stations.
DUTIES :
● Write columns, editorials, commentaries, or feedback that interpret events or possible opinions.
● Assign stories to other reporters or duties to production staff.
● Communicating with bloggers, readers, viewers, advisers, and the general public through any
form.
● Develop ideas or materials for columns or commentaries by analyzing and interpreting news,
current issues, and personal experience.
● Discuss issues with editors to compromise over priorities or positions.
● Transmitting news stories/events from remote locations, using equipment such as satellite
phones, telephones & fax machinery.
