A. 3 Competencies
One of the competencies I learned in my MBA program that helped me facilitate the

simulation was strategic management from Managing Organizations and Leading People- C200.

Withing strategic management I learned how to conduct a SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis

helped me to be able to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that were

presented to my business. Once I identified these areas, I could change my business approach

or act on opportunities. The SWOT analysis will help me in my future career endeavors by

providing me with a better understanding of internal and external factors that can impact a

business, and how to combat or embrace these factors.

The second competency I learned in my MBA program that helped me facilitate the

simulation was the needs assessment from Service Line Development- AMT2. The needs

assessment in service line development was healthcare-focused however, it still helped me be

able to study the market analysis in the simulation and be able to create a product that

consumers needed. I analyzed the consumer’s needs and wants chart to create bike brands that
