are struggling with this problem. Girls on the other hand learn faster than boys, because
their brain is able to preserve information much faster. Girls and boys should have class

First of all, between the ages of 12 and 16 boys start to fall behind the girls in class. This
happens because the sex hormones of boys start to get more active. This causes different
kinds of biological developments, making it harder for boys to concentrate well in class.
Instead of paying attention in class, they start talking about what they are going to do after
school or about the soccer practice they had last night. When boys do this every single class,
they will start to miss a lot of information that might be useful for an upcoming test. It would
be nice for boys to get extra attention from teachers so that they do not miss important
information and can still score good grades.
Secondly, boys are more competitive. Not only in sports, but also in school. They will argue
about who gets better grades or does their homework better. Girls on the other hand are
more conforming. That means that they adjust themselves to the situation they are in. So
when they are in class, they put their mind to that and don’t argue with each other about
who has the better grades. It can be very distracting for girls when boys talk a lot in class
instead of listening to the teacher. When girls only have a class with other girls they can
learn much better and quicker.
