regulations within the logistics sector, into general business and organisational
processes and their interrelationships, and can apply this insight in a broad,
globalised, changing and (inter)national context.
• You can communicate fluently and spontaneously, including technical communication
in the professional field, in written and oral English.

1. What was the video about? How important shipping is in supply chain. Transport by
road is not the most important.
2. Which company was mentioned in the video? Maersk: value is as big as Microsoft
3. What about the whales, is that important? No
4. Is shipping polluting? Yes and no, bcs today there already doing a lot for more
sustainable ways to transfer by ship. If you compare trucks with ships, one truck is
less polluting than a ship, but a ship has a lot of containers. As a transport mode it is
cleaner in ton/km.
5. What is the alternative for ‘dirty’ shipping? Only way is to stop shipping but that is
not possible
