Differential Item Functioning (DIF)

Items die zowel psychometrisch als sociaal zijn. Verschillen in het functioneren van items tussen subpopulaties. Wel variantie bij de metingen van een group membership variabele (subgroepen).

Aanpassingen voor disabled test takers

- Door beperking mogelijk geen normale tot kunnen maken of hebben hierbij nadeel. Onderscheid tussen cognitieve- en fysieke beperkingen. Bij elke aanpassing met worden gekeken of dit acceptabel is vanuit wettelijk oogpunt. - Accomodations en fysieke beperkingen eerder geacteerd dan modificaties en cognitieve beperkingen (want interferentie met het construct dat gemeten wordt).

Predictive invariance

Indien niet voldaan: verschillende voorspellende modellen passen bij verschillende participanten. Speciaal geval: differential predictabilitu - verschillende voorspellende modellen passen bij verschillende subpopulaties (ondanks gelijke score - verschillende kansen om geselecteerd te worden).
