Health in Society

These are all the chapters that are required for the exam of the new public health to get a 9.3 on the exam. It is a very extensive summary. Everything is explained very well and important concepts are red colored, so that is it easy to find them.

These are notes from all lectures of the course Health in Society. I have written down as extensively as possible what has been said and was written down on the slides. The following topics are noted: introduction to (new) public health, Social determinants of health, Health, environment & societies, Medical and behavioural perspectives on health promotion, Enabling individuals and empowering communities, and New public policy. I got a 9.4 on this exam!

Book annotations/summary - "The New Public Health" by Fran Baum. Chapter 1 t/m 5, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24. Preparation for the exam.

Final group paper assignment "Health in Society" course, year , graded with an 7.3. The assignment consists of identifying and analyzing social inequity in a specific health related issue experienced by a specific population group and proposing potential policies or other interventions to mitigate this social inequity in health.

All 6 lectures are summarized with models incorporated. At the end another summarizing definition list is given.
