• Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in Talent Management refer to creating a workplace where
employees of di erent backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are respected,
valued, and given equal opportunities. It ensures fair treatment in hiring, training, and
retention.

• Diversity means di erences in age, gender, race, culture, education, and skills.

• Inclusion ensures that everyone feels welcomed and has equal access to growth and
recognition.

Types of diversity in workplace
there are several types of diversity in the workplace that make individuals unique within an
organization :

1. Cultural Diversity – Di erences in traditions, customs, values, and lifestyles among
employees.

2. Gender Diversity – Inclusion of people of all genders and ensuring equal
opportunities for everyone.

3. Age Diversity – Presence of both young and older employees, combining
energy with experience.

4. Racial and Ethnic Diversity – Representation of people from di erent races,
nationalities, and ethnic groups.

5. Educational Diversity – Employees with di erent academic quali cations and
knowledge backgrounds.

6. Physical Ability Diversity – Inclusion of people with di erent physical or
mental abilities.
